Melqart

Melqart’s time travel returns him to before his creation. At this
point in time, no-one has seen anything like him before.
That’s to his advantage, but his lack of knowledge about
why he was sent back in time remains a vulnerability.
He senses from the start that he was not given the
whole story from the recording.
Melqart is an incredibly intelligent individual,
capable of predicting likely problems and creating
contingencies for them, which comes in handy
several times within this story (and, presumably,
during his life as a hero).
